Integers don't silently overflow
Other languages let Int overflow quietly: C wraps around to a huge negative number, JavaScript silently loses precision. Ascent traps the instant it happens instead.
Ordinary math, comfortably inside Int’s 64-bit signed range. Now predict what happens if you push past the edge, then run it:
That’s a loud crash telling you plainly that the calculation overflowed, not a wrong answer dressed up as a right one.
